Microsoft has confirmed that after updating to Windows 10 version 1809 , You are free from the hassle of safely removing your USB drive.
According to Microsoft they are using a feature named “ Quick Removal”.
Basically this feature keeps windows from constantly trying to write on to the USB drive, this helps in the event your remove your USB drive. Just keep in mind do not remove USB while you are actively writing something on it or things might get wrong.
Also remember this feature is not available on all versions of the windows 10 it is recently launched after update version 1809.
It was a long waited feature which Microsoft was sceptical about bringing but at last they brought it.
So now the process of safely ejecting a flash drive can be one of those things you tell your kids about one of those “Do you remember this thing that olds used to do?” like adjusting the tracking on a VHS tape or screaming at your family not to pick up the telephone while you’re downloading a new webpage.
